Un aviso para cuando os pase, puede ocurrir que si el Tyka se cierra de mala manera (por ejemplo por un reinicio inesperado del PC) nos encontremos luego con que si entramos a rFactor directamente sin usar el Tyka no funcionen los botones de los menús. Cuando ejecutas el Tyka deshabilita esos botones y mete un menú estandar, al cerrar el Tyka de manera normal los vuelve a habilitar y restaura de nuevo el menú del mod, pero si por alguna razón el Tyka se cierra mal, el menú y los botones se pueden quedar sin restaurar. Para volver a activarlos debes reinstalar el menú del mod, eso lo puedes hacer reinstalando el parche FOCA v1.2 y a continuación su update a la versión 1.3

Hi guys,

Some bad news. Today the server was disconnected from the outside world, appartently due to hacking attempts.

I will do my best to get the server up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime Tyka and the website are down.

Unfortunately it seems unlikely I will have access to the server before Monday.

So you can expect down time until at least Monday afternoon.

I'm very sorry, but at the moment there's nothing I can do 

But don't worry, we'll be back. That's for sure!

I have an appointment this afternoon to get the server up and running again.

So hopefully by the end of the day everything's back in order, depending on what hacks were done to the server... I have no idea at the moment, so let's hope it's nothing bad.

Makes you wonder how secure Windows servers are though, even with security updates, firewalls and anti-virus installed...

Well, I had some more updates today.

It seems we were under attack from China with multiple computers! They attempted PHP hacks and other things, most likely with automated tools. The datacenter had thousands of log entries from multiple IPs before they shut us down.

I don't know why they would choose our server, since there's hardly any relevant information to be found. It's not like we store creditcard numbers or something blum.gif. But perhaps they wanted to gain entry to our server to hack the rest of the network or use it as a zombie, who knows. In the end the only thing they managed to do, is obtain some down time from our server... Yahooo blink.gif

Still not sure when we'll be reconnected again, but I'm doing all I can...

Tyka ha vuelto a la vida, al final han tenido que cambiar de servidor porque el anterior tardaba demasiado en restaurarles el servicio. Por tanto han publicado un nuevo ejecutable debido a que el anterior intenta conectar a la IP antigua y esa ya no sirve, así que es necesario actualizar el Tyka con lo siguiente (si ya se tenía el Tyka instalado)

Executable (unzip in the Tyka installation folder):
Tyka executable (normal edition) : http://client.f1rst3.com/files/tyka.zip

Si no se tenía el Tyka instalado es necesario descargar e instalar antes el Tyka y a continuación actualizarlo con el enlace anterior para poder conectar.
